Ford also touched on getting to reunite with the actor during this year’s D23 Expo, when the pair were famously seen hugging and then posing for a photograph afterward. Ford said that it was “great” to see him, and after talking about, was told that Quan would “probably” get an Academy Award nomination for the performance, to which Ford replied, “And well deserved! Well deserved.
