The Santa Clauses series also claimed the eighth most-watched spot of all Disney+ originals for the months of November and December. The remaining shows listed on the Top 10 list belong to those of either the Marvel or Star Wars franchises. Demand for the three The Santa Clause movies across the Disney+ platform also increased since the debut of the new streaming series. The original film’s viewing rose 165.4% between Dec. 6 and 12, while The Santa Clause 2 saw a 285.5% increase and The Santa Clause 3’s demand jumped 114.7%.The final episode of the Disney+ The Santa Clauses series’s first season was released last week.
Allen has said the format of a streaming series took some time for him to get used to but that he is pleased with the way it turned out, specifically noting the way Christmas was honored.
