Why do they not use biodegradable bags as they do in Italian supermarkets, they can then be recycled with food waste and will not harm the environment. There is a small charge asin UK but no harm to anything as they biodegrade!

it's cheaper to go home delivery! there is a cap on bag charge and if you book in advance the delivery charge isn't any more than the fuel used.
