On how Adele’s music has been there for her through such a hard time, Rebecca explained that 30 was ‘just what I needed’. Writer Rebecca says Adele’s 30 album was just what she needed while going through the tough time in her life ‘Hold On stands out to me the most, there’s a lyric, “Let time be patient and let pain be gracious”, that lyric was an anchor for me when I was the same age as her going through my own divorce, that song made me feel less isolated, and to hear her sing that live was an out-of-body experience.
