“It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I must inform you that I will be going back out on tour this spring. I just found out myself. Seems the tour is called, Worst Daddy in The World, and Mr. Sean Patton will be opening up. Sean hasn’t been told about this and I’d appreciate it if you let me break the tragic news to him,” said Cross in a statement. “Please allow my family and the rest of North America , and eventually some of Europe, to grieve in peace. Sorry, David Cross.

An Emmy Award winner and two-time Grammy Award nominee, Cross starred in the 2021 National Geographic series, Genius: Aretha, portraying famed music producer, Jerry Wexler. He made guest appearances in the critically acclaimed HBO Max miniseries, Station Eleven; and starred in the HBO Max film, 8-Bit Christmas. His resume also includes the groundbreaking TV series Arrested Development and Mr. Show with Bob and David.

David will donate $2.00 from every ticket sold for the World’s Worst Daddy Tour to The Innocence Project.
