Peter Kay teases 'big announcement' on Sara Cox Radio 2 show tomorrow

The comedian tweeted a short statement thanking everyone who went along to his standup shows in Manchester, and then urged people to listen to Sara Cox on BBC Radio 2 just after 6pm tomorrow.

The full statement reads: "I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to the first shows in Manchester. It was incredible to be part of such a happy experience. Everybody deserves a bit of joy. Here's to a lot more in the shows to come!!"Many fans were left disappointed they couldn't get tickets when they first went on sale because the volume of people trying crashed ticket sites.
