The price of waiting to sign Cody Gakpo has now risen to about £40m as it now seems that the Dutchman – who has scored three goals at this World Cup – will cost a massive £65m. Wow. But when you see what Manchester United paid for Antony, it absolutely makes sense that PSV try and eke out a higher price for the forward who has scored 13 goals and claimed 17 assists already this season.

According to AS, Kessie’s agent has fielded interest from Napoli and Inter Milan, while Tottenham have gone straight to Barcelona and suggested a loan move followed by a permanent deal next summer if things go well. The Spanish club are keen but Kessie might want to wait until next summer; nobody wants to give up that easily.
