BigHit Music on Tuesday formally announced BTS member Jin's upcoming military enlistment.

In a statement on Weverse, the agency said Jin will "not be holding any kind of official event on the day of his recruitment." They asked fans to refrain from going to the site as the entrance ceremony is a time to be observed by military personnel and their families only. "We ask you for your continued love and support for Jin until he finishes his military service and comes back," BigHit Music said. "Our company will also strive to provide every support he needs during this time."In October, it was announced that all members of BTS will soon fulfill their mandatory military service, with oldest member Jin the first to serve in uniform.," co-written by Coldplay. Fellow members J-Hope and RM also recently launched solo projects.
