The latest artist series for Wizards of the Coasts' 'Secret Lair' initiative pays tribute to an icon of fantasy art.

The five cards in the set include the white creature Field Marshal , the red sorcery Seize the Day, the blue sorcery Temporal Manipulation, the black instant Dark Ritual, and the black creature Midnight Reaper. Each card in the collection, aside from having Frazetta’s art on it, hassince it was last widely reprinted in the 10th edition set! Check out the four remaining cards in the drop below.

I see they didn't choose any of the Frazetta women that he's famous for. 🤔

frazetta was the first cover artist i noticed and started recognizing when i was very young. it was the start of a lifelong appreciation for artists and illustration/covers as an art medium.
