No one should experience racism. It’s appalling that it still goes on.
Should name and shame the shop that was rude to your mum. And people who get into power don't want to rock the boat. That's why current generations are still moaning about stuff my nan was drugs, homophobia, women's rights, children's rights.
That's a sad situation a sad statement to have put out there. Unfortunately it's reality rare but a reality. Thesee people are of the few and will enevitably show themselves. And when they do we must show them how wrong they way they think is. Sorry for your pain.
May i suggest that you where a body camera to record any incidents Steve so that you can show the type of Racism that those racists are. Any Racism is bad and wants to be recorded and reported and isn't acceptable anywhere and is a Hate Crime.
