Scarlette Douglas has said that she and Matt Hancock "had a laugh" during their time together in the I'm a Celeb jungle. The A Place in the Sun presenter, who was voted off the show on Sunday night, appeared on Good Morning Britain today to discuss how she and the disgraced MP "got on".
Scarlette told the GMB presenters about the time that she had taught him to "slide", revealing that it was more of a "line dance". She said: "No, no, no, no. He can't slide, he can try I'm going to say that much, but he gave it his best shot. And I think Matt did that throughout everything in the jungle, he just tried, he never shied away from anything.
She replied: "Yeah, I mean, listen: he definitely won stars for camp and he came in and everybody was shocked to see him in there. And, for me, I had to just pull him aside and let him know how I was feeling about him being in the jungle. "So, for me, when Matt came in I said 'you know, there are a lot of things that you have done, that people aren't happy with and you have to understand that emotions are going to be running high in camp and you have to get why that is. So, in the jungle, we will get on but it doesn't mean that outside we're going to be best mates at all. But, in here, we'll just work together as a team and that's all we can do.
