Nope! We need this experiment to play out to see if the bitcoin maximalists are right. They created this world so if it succeeds they can claim victory, if it fails the damage is contained to them. The only regulations should be against 401k, pensions, etc. investing in crypto

putting crypto under the FDICgov is one of the worst possible ideas I can think of, because existing legal frameworks are NOT suited capture crypto exposure or risks. We need new rules. Neither would the FDIC be able to 'audit' a crypto project, as they do in CeFi.

Agreed. Not regulating or any further delay will cause opportunists like SBF of FTX exploiting retail investors.
