14 Irish celebrities and where they went to school - from Bono to Cillian Murphy to Conor McGregor

Ireland is well known for producing some of the greatest actors, singers, and sportspeople over the years.

Colin Farrell One of Ireland's best-known exports attended Castleknock College, close to where he grew up in Dublin. Ruth Negga Golden Globe-nominated actress Ruth Negga was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, but was raised in Limerick. Jessie Buckley Kerry-native Jessie Buckley first appeared on our screens in the BBC TV talent show I'd Do Anything, but she has since appeared in a slew of hit films and series including Wild Rose, I'm Thinking of Ending Things, and Chernobyl.

Cillian Murphy Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy was educated at the Presentation Brothers College in Cork.
