The Ottawa Citizen reported Tuesday that Paul Rivett is on the growing list of potential investors vying to acquire the NHL team, in addition to actor Ryan Reynolds and Andre Desmarais of Power Corp.

The club is managed by sisters Olivia and Anna Melnyk, who inherited it from their billionaire father Eugene Melnyk after he died of an undisclosed illness last March. He bought the team in 2003 for $92 million.
