Smashing Pumpkins and Jane's Addiction share the spotlight and induce flashbacks to the '90s. Also, a fundraiser for a beloved indie radio station.

If you spent any time shoving strangers around in a mosh pit at Lollapalooza back when Billy Corgan still had hair, this is the nostalgia tour for you, my friend — a Gen X dream date sure to engender flashbacks to the days when that Nirvana video had damn near everyone convinced the freaks were taking over.Smashing Pumpkins were the losers most likely to harbor delusions of grandeur. Now they're out with Jane's Addiction, who did more than anyone this side of R.E.M. to prime the pump for that whole revolution and imploded right on schedule after headlining their singer's touring festival, Lollapalooza — which, for the record, launched right here in metro Phoenix back in 1991, aka the year punk broke.
