Timing is important, child must be focused and be the one leading the conversation. Lying to your children is BAD! Santa , is not real, but the spirit of giving is real. Talk about StNicolas and the story of Santa, your child will thank you.

To all the christians of the world Christmas is to celebrate the life of Christ so why make lies about this holidays I applaud that father. How many Christian parents lies to there kid ? How many none christians lie to there kids forgetting what Christmas is meant to be.

It’s his daughter and his choice on how to parent them. I told my daughter when she was 7.She complained Santa didn’t bring her as much as her brother(age8)I explained how I knew”Santa” was even to the penny with son “knew”.She still holds a grudge at 15.

I don't have a problem with this. This is why I choose not to send my daughter to a religious backed daycare or go to church. I want her to form her own opinions based on her experiences on how the world works, and not how I want her to think.
