But that's not all. The entirety of the campus and its associated buildings are for sale. The property"spans a total of 1.3 acres including five buildings on seven parcels," per the house and museum's website.Located in Cleveland, Ohio, at 3159 W. 11th street, 44109, the home was restored to its former glory and features nostalgic references to the film. Authentic props and costumes from the hit Christmas movie are housed in the museum.
"It's an interesting property to not only own, but also have to take care of as a piece of Americana. It's going to be an interesting journey," said current owner Brian Jones as he placed the for-sale sign. A price has yet to be listed, and Jones explained that this isn't the only factor he will be considering in the sale. “Price will matter, but not necessarily the highest price that's the right fit for this business and this piece of nostalgic Americana," he explained.
A museum and gift shop exist on the campus, as well as a rental property. There are multiple lots included, allowing for expansion. The home was originally constructed in 1895 and was purchased by the current owner in 2004. After renovations were completed, it began hosting tours in 2006.
Is this classic movie banned by cancel culture yet? It does have a kid whose only dream is to have a gun.. and gets his wish for Christmas. Surely the woke folk will cancel & prohibit this beloved movie too
