Iranian exile who inspired the movie ‘The Terminal’ dies at French airport

Mehran Karimi Nasseri died of natural causes just before midday on Saturday in terminal 2F at Charles de Gaulle airport outside the French capital, the official told AFP. He called himself “Sir Alfred”, and a small section of airport parquet and plastic bench became his domain.
