Kota Kinabalu: .Magistrate Stephanie Sherron Abbie made the ordered on the case of Mohammad Ambree Yunos @ Unos and Etiqah Siti Noorashikeen Mohd Sulong following an application by the prosecution for their case to be transferred to the High Court. Deputy Prosecutor Nurul Shafeerah Mad Iskim informed the court that a sanction to transfer the case to the High Court for the charge under Section 302 of the Penal Code had been obtained.
Ambree was also granted bail on Oct 20 by the High Court following his application for bail. Stephanie ordered their bail to be extended. Ambree was represented by counsel Ram Singh, Kimberly Ye and Chen Wen Jye while Etiqah was defended by Datuk Seri Rakhbir Singh. In another case, a woman was fined RM3,500 or 10 months jail for assisting in hiding someone else’s RM,6000 in cash.
