The new Star Wars show The Acolyte reportedly casts Dafne Keen, who played X-23 in Logan, but her role is a mystery 🤫

Lucasfilm's new Star Wars show The Acolyte has reportedly found a new cast member in Logan star Dafne Keen. The launch of Disney+ in 2019 completely changed the Star Wars franchise. The Mandalorian's success and the studio's troubles developing movies led to a pivot in the content plan to prioritize more shows for Disney's streaming service. Audiences have since seen multiple seasons of The Mandalorian and single seasons of The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY The Acolyte is one of the new Star Wars shows Lucasfilm is working on. Created by Russian Doll's Leslye Headland, the series is set hundreds of years before the prequels. The Acolyte officially stars Amandla Stenberg from The Hunger Games. While details on her character are not confirmed, the show revolves around the rise of the Sith near the end of the High Republic era.

Everything We Know About The Acolyte Dafne Keen's casting in The Acolyte expands what was already a very strong cast. Amandla Stenberg leads the ensemble after starring in Bodies Bodies Bodies, while Jodie Turner-Smith also has a main role following her breakout role in Queen & Slim. Lucasfilm also added Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae to The Acolyte's cast, as well as The Good Place star Manny Jacinto and Russian Doll's Charlie Bennett.

The Acolyte's characters and the story will play a major role in expanding the Star Wars franchise. By telling a story during the final days of the High Republic, the show will go farther back in the timeline than any other live-action or animated canon projects. Those who have been keeping tabs on the High Republic comics and books have already been introduced to the time period where the Jedi were at their strongest.

If You Gave Up on ‘Andor,’ It’s Time To Give It Another ShotIf you weren’t a fan of the first few episodes of Andor, you might want to give it another shot. it’s a very good show. it is not a fast paced action adventure but it’s a hell of a lot better than Boba So I should watch it One of? It blows MOST shows on any medium completely out of the water. Forget the Star Wars universe. It’s already the best thing that uni has kicked out by a mile.
