May 28 – Lenhard emails councilmembers saying he was “unable to fulfill the assignment given to me last night” to cancel the agreement with the show’s producers because it would lead to a lawsuit. July 27 – An anonymous letter arrives, seemingly containing details about what happened in that closed-door meeting. Lenhard denies having anything to do with it.
He did the right thing, glad he got reimbursed for losing his job while standing up to bigotry.
