Marlo Thomas sent “Sherri” staffers into “mama bear mode,” we’re told, when she “fat shamed” host Sherri Shepherd on her own show.
The “That Girl” star appeared on Shepherd’s new talk show Tuesday to promote multiple projects, including her upcoming film “Magical Christmas Village.” But she stunned folks behind-the-scenes when, at the end of her segment, when she reminded Shepherd about a time their paths had crossed.“I interviewed you for my AOL show,” she recalled, adding “and you were a big one!”Thomas then dug deeper by putting her hand around her body and blowing her face out in an attempt to imitate Shepherd’s old size.

I've enjoyed some of Marlo's work on TV, but this wasn't ok. It was rude & since Marlo has often spoken about empowerment - 'Free to Be You & Me,' etc. - it's contrary to what she usually preaches.
You're invited on a talk show and your go-to bit is to make fun of the host's body? That's gross.
