Netflix has announced Season 4 of The Witcher, but with the caveat of a major change. For the fourth season of the hit TV show, Henry Cavill will no longer be playing Geralt of Rivia, the show's protagonist. Rather, the role will be played by fellow Hollywood star Liam Hemsworth. As you would expect, the change has come as a massive surprise to fans who never expected Cavill, a Mega fan of the series, to step down from the role.
"My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures, and alas, I will be laying down my medallion and my swords for Season 4," said Cavill in a statement released alongside the news."In my stead, the fantastic Mr. Liam Hemsworth will be taking up the mantle of the White Wolf.
Hemsworth chimed in with the following:"As a Witcher fan I'm over the moon about the opportunity to play Geralt of Rivia," he said in a statement."Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I'm honored that he's handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf's blades for the next chapter of his adventure. Henry, I've been a fan of yours for years and was inspired by what you brought to this beloved character.

NOW Bummed but not mad, Henry is too good as Geralt for this show which has gone off the rails with the source material & choppy writing. Now that he's back with WB, I hope he can work with them to get their own Witcher show off the ground for HBO, since they do publish the games
