Nearly seven years after the release of her last album, it’s safe to say that fans have been more than a little excited to hear her vocals again. The track is a move away from her usual melodies – and for good reason. This single is a tribute toin August 2020 at the age of 43.

Burning in a hopeless dream/Hold me when you go to sleep.”director Ryan Coogler. “After speaking with Ryan and hearing his direction for the film and the song, I wanted to write something that portrays a warm embrace from all the people that I’ve lost in my life,” Tems said in a statement. “I tried to imagine what it would feel like if I could sing to them now and express how much I miss them.
“Rihanna has been an inspiration to me so hearing her convey this song is a great honour,” Tems added.
