Children who have been collecting pop tabs are gearing up the 38th edition of the DRPS Children’s Games.
The annual games, held by Durham police, are happening Saturday from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex in Pickering.It will be a drive-thru event again this year, for safety reasons. Officers and community members will be on-hand to cheer on the athletes. The athletes will receive their ‘Game Day in a Box’ after dropping off their pop tabs.
