cbcnewsbc I'm in Ontario but I already knew this because I watched S7 Ep1 of Still Standing where Hope, BC was highlighted. Still Standing is such an awesome Canadian show.

cbcnewsbc Considering they cut 90% of the dialogue but left all the scenery in, they should be proud.

Rambo was a harbinger. First blood brought attention to PTSD. Rambo 2 (falsely) convinced Americans MIA prisoners were still being held in Vietnam. (Which indirectly opened relations with Vietnam ). Rambo 3 gave a sneak peek of the Taliban.

And to think that this story began with cops harassing and abusing a guy just trying to walk down a road...
