At Truth's original outpost in Brenham, opened in 2015 by pitmaster Leonard Botello IV, fans stand in line for hours waiting to get inside its tidy building to order what's considered some of the best barbecue in Texas. Leonard Botello Sr., who also works at Truth BBQ, said they're looking forward to selling their food at Marburger.
He said they're still working on the menu and the exact offerings will depend on what they can get during that week, but they expect to have brisket, turkey, pork ribs and a lighter option such as a salad. The twice-a-year antique shows that many refer to generically as"Round Top," are now actually dozens of shopping sites along Texas 237 from LaGrange to Carmine. Headliner antiques shopping experiences are at the Original Round Top Antiques Fair as well as the the Marburger Farm site. Other shopping experiences set up in sites such as The Compound and barns and temporary tents all along the highway and run from mid- to late October.
