Fall is here, and it's a good time to talk about fall prevention, the leading cause of fatal and nonfatal injuries in older adults.
Dallas Park and Recreation Department have teamed up with Wellmed Charitable Foundation to offer adults ages 60 and older a 22,000-square-foot state-of-the-art health and wellness center. One side of the facility provides health and wellness programs while the other is a WellMed primary care clinic that will provide complimentary health care services, such as diabetes screenings and flu shots, to center members.
