Alec Baldwin reaches settlement with family of 'Rust' victim Halyna Hutchins

"Throughout this difficult process, everyone has maintained the specific desire to do what is best for Halyna’s son. As part of the settlement, filming on the movie will resume in January 2023 with Halyna's husband Matthew Hutchins in an executive producer role. The original cast is scheduled to return, according to a report. “I have no interest in engaging in recriminations or attribution of blame ,” Matthew Hutchins said in a statement. “All of us believe Halyna’s death was a terrible accident. I am grateful that the producers and the entertainment community have come together to pay tribute to Halyna’s final work.

Baldwin, who fired a prop gun which contained a real bullet killing Halyna Hutchins on the movie set has maintained his innocence.

Am I the only one that finds it amazing that they’re going to continue shooting this movie ?
