BMG’s Head of Recorded Music Catalog Peter Stack to Step Down at End of Year

RelatedHis journey at BMG began eight years ago when the company purchased Union Square Music, a European-based independent catalog company he founded and worked for as its executive vp of global catalog recordings for seven years. As Stack admits in a statement, he didn’t plan to stay at BMG for longer than “an initial three years to integrate the business.

Stack’s storied career also includes building and running Music Collection International, which was later renamed Demon Music Group. He additionally served as an elected independent douncil member on the BPI Council and as a PPL board director.
