District Attorney Michael Jackson two men came to the party from Indianapolis and got into an argument because one of the men said he wouldn’t give the other man a ride back.
He then got into a car with another group of males and the dispute continued, leading to shots fired after they had driven away from the site of the festival. The four people struck were treated at area hospitals and released. The shooting happened about 7 p.m.The investigation is ongoing by the State Bureau of Investigation and the 4th Circuit Drug Task Force. The 4th Circuit includes Perry, Bibb, Hale, Dallas and Wilcox Counties.
