The Italian-American actor’s food show, ‘Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy’, has won him legions of new fans with its easy, charming approachSeptember 29, 2022 3:28 pm

The show, which returns this weekend for its second series, is intimate and easy, defined by Tucci’s natural charm and laid-back enjoyment of all he experiences. It sees him visiting areas of Italy simply to eat food and meet the people who make it, and it makes for particularly soothing Sunday night viewing.

Tucci lives in London with his wife Felicity Blunt, and during lockdown, he became a cult Instagram star as a result of the Italian cooking and cocktails he documented on his page. For a brief moment in 2020, social media and the celebrity press was full of appreciation articles entitled things like “We Are Living For Stanley Tucci’s Instagram” and tweets which asked the pressing question: “Do I fancy Stanley Tucci???” .
