Former ITV presenter Eamonn Holmes took a brutal swipe at This Morning’s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield following false claims they jumped the queue at the Queen’s lying-in-state.It comes as Phillip and Holly have been forced to explain that they were in Westminster Hall to film a segment for This Morning, rather than skipping the queue that had 19 hours of waiting time at some points.
After liking a meme that showed him and wife Ruth Langsford laughing alongside the caption 'When you reach the front of the queue', Eamonn then joined in on the feverish discussions. A picture emerged on Friday which appeared to show Holly and Phil in the fast-track lane to pay their respects to the Queen, which caused fury, particularly when celebs such as David Beckham had queued with the public.
