The actor proved that he put in the hard work necessary to secure his blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu, entering the martial arts competition held at Oakgrove School in Milton Keyes, England on Saturday, located about an hour and a half north of London. A representative for Ultimate Martial Arts Championship, the tournament's organizers, toldthat everyone had nothing but kind things to say about the action star.
The movie star was able to bring each of his opponents that day to the ground. For his final match, Hardy faced off against, who said that he had actually signed up for the tournament after seeing the actor's legal name listed as a competitor. “I was contemplating the Milton Keynes tournament as it was very local. And then one morning—he goes by the name—I saw that he'd actually signed up,” Leatherland explained.
And this isn't even the first gold medal in Jiu-Jitsu that Hardy has taken home recently. In August, he won another two gold medals after competing in a charity competition in Wolverhampton. He received one in the gi category in his belt and weight division, named after the traditional martial arts uniform contestants wear, as well as one in the no-gi category in his belt and weight division.
