Maybe it's their atrocious forest management practices?
Yes unfortunately 5 hundred million degrees anything will melt. Why not build hobbit homes? Concrete underground domes? Check out Dutch solutions! They find SOLUTIONS 🤷🏼♀️
Duh
Building codes don't cure government stupidity that created a widfire zone, ready to go WHOOSH!!
Building elsewhere costs money. Fire suppression and prevention cost money. Wildfires cost money. Treating symptoms of climate change costs money. Fighting climate change and going green make/save money: going green is literally about using/spending less and making more energy.
Many homes i saw on tv had trees, shrubs between then NEXT TO / OVER the house (for shade?). Fire followed landscaping up to home. Embers land on roofing?
People should not build houses in certain areas!
Will there be any controls over the disposal of toxic ash/waste?
I don’t care
These areas should be using the firewise program. But I guess it’s easier to blame it on climate change and not the lack of fire suppression.
No shit...
Anything but cement burns.
Alexa...turn off the gas ...Alexa ..do it..why not ..Alexa ...unlock the doors...
Nothing in the known universe is vaporization proof. Best of luck to all involved.
It’s less the material of the homes and more the defensible space and prescribed fire policies. In California (and all around the US) we really need to fight fire with fire.
How about not building in those areas?
and some of the most reckless forest management codes. shocking
