Channel 4 viewers have praised bosses for airing last night's Gogglebox in what was one of few scheduled shows not affected by coverage of the Queen's death.
One viewer wrote on Twitter: 'Really grateful to Channel 4 for broadcasting Gogglebox tonight. As sad as the new is, this is the comfort viewing we all need tonight'. following amendments to the TV schedule since Buckingham Palace confirmed the Queen had passed away aged 96 but yesterday C4 confirmed the show would air. Stars including Blackpool's Sophie Sandiford, Izzi Warner and best pals Jenny and Lee have paid tribute to the Queen.
Jenny Newby and Lee Riley commented: "We are absolutely gutted of the passing of the greatest leader this country will ever see. You’ve guided this county through all of our lives. Rest in peace our Queen xx"
That would be a shame! Do we really need to watch people watching the TV 🤔🙄
