Speaking to the BBC about the incident over the weekend, she said she was walking down the street when she heard people running towards her."I ended up on the ground and they just wouldn't let go until they ripped the back pack off me," she told the BBC's"My phone was on the ground, there were little bits of cash on the ground, my bank cards - but they wouldn't let go.
However Ms Copstick said she had experienced problems sending money to the country, which was why she was carrying cash.
Why was she walking alone with £8.5k in her bag? How did the men in balaclavas know she had it on her? Sus.
Sounds like an inside job. I'd be looking at the charities staff.
Ask those saving folk at Dover for a donation. How do they know your bag is full of money? Why carry large sum of money unguarded? Must have counted it to know; maybe they did to.
I hope to god she wasn’t physically attacked 😗
As sad as it is - charity starts at home 🏡 Much much more of this is to come with the state of the UK living crisis and illegal entrants that are coming daily
All part of living in khan's London... londonlife
Two men luckily had balaclavas and in no way knew that £8500 charity money was in the bag. She identified the two men as ' wearing balaclavas and dressed entirely in black.' The police have gave out this photo fit of a generic bad guy to assist in this crime investigation
This is why I carry my firearm at all times.
Lots of questions? Why carrying £8500 in cash? If this is tin rattling proceeds you would need a wheelbarrow full of coins. Lets say people are stumping up £20 notes, thats over 400 notes? How did the assailants know she had the money? Sounds like a Smollett to me.
Sad.... Just sad....
Inside job?
She should ask SadiqKhan to reimburse the amount.
Tory crime ridden Britain.
🐃💩
lol. Never heard of her.
let’s see how this pans out …..
