'I never say no to them'

Ray Foley has confirmed he plans to do more TV work with Virgin Media Television after quitting The Six O’Clock Show earlier this year.

“My first love is radio. Radio and TV are very different in the respect that you have more control of the content on your own radio show. The popular presenter has been at the helm of afternoons on the station since February and couldn’t be happier with how things are going.“It was definitely a nerve-wracking experience [at the beginning], thinking of what the reaction would be like but it has been hugely positive,” he said.

Funnily enough, now that he is based in Dublin full-time he actually sees his family less during the week. Ray has been a staple on our airwaves and TV screens for many years now, but admits his sons aren’t particularly interested in his work. When he got the gig on Today FM, Matthew and Andrew were very excited - but for an entirely different reason to Ray.
