RTE revealed the news as part of a schedule shake-up

The broadcaster announced earlier this year she was stepping down from her weekly current affairs show after seven years at the helm of Monday nights. Read more: RTE's John Creedon worked anything that came his way to look after his four daughters

Other current affairs programmes returning to RTE this autumn include RTE Investigates and Prime Time. Mairead Ronan is back on our screens to host a new series of Ireland's Fittest Family, with brand new coach and current Dancing with the Stars champion Nina Carberry joining Donncha O'Callaghan, Anna Geary and Davy Fitzgerald.
