‘Avatar’ Rerelease Could Benefit Slow September for TheatersJames Cameron's iconic 2009 movie will be made available three months before his 'Avatar: The Way of the Water' opens on the big screen in December. Why are they doing that? Afraid TopGunMaverick might eventually surpass them Yup, that's what I thought! why would anyone wanna pay for a mediocre movie again? i saw it in theaters cause EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER kept saying it was a great movie but nothing happens for 3 hours until the very end It will be another test to see if audiences will embrace 3D again as the recent tests with Doctor Strange 2 and Thor 4 weren't very promising while it feels a very long 12 years since Avatar opened especially after South Park' Dances with Smurfs
