I hope I come back in my next life as a Finnish teenager: effortlessly cool, decked out in the latest European fashions, enjoying little-to-no parental oversight. Mimmi and Rönkkö are best friends who work together at a smoothie stand; their lives change over the course of three Fridays after they’re invited to a party at a cool kid’s house. Baby goth Mimmi and semi-professional figure skater Emma begin to date and eventually fall in love, unlikely as their pairing may be. Meanwhile Rönkkö is confronting her inability to take pleasure in sex, undergoing a series of encounters with different boys who fail to aid in her endeavor.
