More filming for NI!

A Channel 5 detective drama filmed in Northern Ireland has been given the green light for two more series. The show, based on P.D. James Inspector Dalgliesh Mysteries tales, will return to screens with series two very soon as filming is already underway in NI.

According to Channel 5’s original synopsis of the drama, the series "follows Dalgliesh’s career to present day as he solves unusual murders and reveals buried secrets” with each of the three murder mystery films offering “its own unique setting and extraordinary cast”.Actors and TV crew have already been seen in locations such as Ballymena over the last number of months as series two filming gets well underway.

In Death Of An Expert Witness, when a young girl is found murdered in a field, the scientific examination of the exhibits is just a routine job for the staff of Hoggatt’s forensic science laboratory, but when the senior biologist is found dead in his laboratory, Dalgliesh is called to the bleak fens of East Anglia, where the murderer is lying in wait to strike again.
