Next year's Eurovision Song Contest will be staged in Britain after organizers said it is too risky to hold the pop extravaganza in Ukraine.

"As we are now hosts, the U.K. will honour that pledge directly — and put on a fantastic contest on behalf of our Ukrainian friends," Johnson said.
