RIP. What a great newscaster.🙏🙏🙏🙏😢
He was a Titan among Giants among us. Also appreciated magic. Thanks, Patrick. Bless your bones.
canteach Witness to Yesterday was my Fav. A truly inspiring & great Canadian.
I was assigned to watch the full series of “The Struggle for Democracy” and submit evidence of note taking. My family watched together each week, and learned so much. In retrospect, the most meaningful homework assignment I ever received.
CBCAdrianH 😢
CBCAdrianH A life well lived, a voice from back in the day when I still listened to and watched CBC Radio/TV.
I enjoyed his show, Witness to Yesterday.
Watson was a remarkable journalist. I watched 'Seven Days' as a teen & after one show, I wrote a letter to him about something that struck me on that show. About a week later, I received a letter... he had personally replied, responding to my comments. I never forgot that.
He was a class act.
😔
I was a young teenager and every Sunday evening argued for This Hour has 7 Days instead of Bonanza. I won maybe half the time...
Loved him.
age and death are human. your attempt to monetize his death is gutless and greedy
