Temitope Irawo, says gospel artistes don’t only have to contend with physical challenges, they also face spiritual battles., she said, “Gospel artistes face a lot of challenges, both spiritual and physical. That is because of what we carry. Whenever we are praising God, the devil is usually not happy about it because our warfare is not canal but has the power to pull down strongholds.”
Responding to a question on whether gospel artistes should charge performance fees, Irawo said, “This is a complicated issue. However, the most important thing is that one should put God first in whatever one does. By doing that, one will have the fear of God, and it will not affect those who invite us for ministrations.”
If the Gospel singer did it all for God without looking at the face of fame their lives will be more peaceful and encouraging to the rest of the world 🌎 and Africa in particular... Candy 🍭.
It wasn’t easy for Christ, John the Baptist, or the many who were persecuted for the gospel. Keep at it.
They go through such things and yet disguise that they are fine, which is very sad.
