Those costumes are awful. They're a horrible historical mishmash cheap imitation of what Bridgerton was trying to do. They're badly fitted and cut. Trousers? Really? And the women look like they're wearing 1970s thermal nightgowns.

This seems like a film adaptation of bridgerton?

hollywood refuses to write stories that represent black characters experiences. instead they take the easy route & color swap giving black actors hand-me down roles of white characters.
