Game of Thrones star Lena Headey is being sued by her former agency for $1.5million (£1.2million) over her scrapped role in Thor: Love and Thunder, it has been claimed.

Troika, which changed its name to YMU in 2020, claims that Headey owes them at least $500,000 of the money she earned from the new Marvel movie., Headey, 48, was eventually cut from the film and will not appear, but YMU believe that they are entitled to the equivalent of 7% of the commission fee she received for her work.

On top of that, YMU are apparently claiming that they are entitled to an extra $650,000 for the star’s stint for unaired Showtime series Rita, which didn’t secure a series order. However, Duff eventually left Troika/YMU in early 2020 and Headey also departed from the company in May of the same year.Troika/YMU claim that, under the terms of the agreement signed with Headey, the actress owes the agency commission fees from a number of projects.
