The director, Baz Luhrmann, the filmmaker behind movies like “Moulin Rouge” and “The Great Gatsby,” was also at the premiere with his wife Catherine Martin and their daughter, Lillian Luhrmann. Hanks, Yola and Bracey star in the film as Elvis Presley’s manager Colonel Tom Parker, rock ‘n’ roll singer Sister Rosetta Tharpe and talent manager Jerry Schilling, respectively.
