RTE’s Mark Rogers gives advice on house-hunting after success in finding a home

Mark Rogers shares his advice on successfully finding a home during Ireland’s current property market.

He told RSVP Live: “I got this very joyous but also very terrifying email that just said, ‘Congratulations, you’ve bought a house’. “We set out criteria that we were looking for in our house and did them in priority order because the reality is that I don’t think you’re going to get this perfect house in a perfect situation.

“I work in beauty not in law so it was quite the learning. We had a great solicitor and there was good communication with him. “I’m really good with the organisation of the documentation and the legal bits. Paul is very good at the house and the nesting of the new house.
