Such a pity

The Saturday night game show, which sees lucky contestants get the chance to win cash prizes, holidays and cars, was pulled off air back in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Earlier this year, TV presenter Sinead Kennedy admitted she had "no idea" when the show would return but that there is a real appetite from the public because she is always asked about it. "If you did it without the audience I’m not sure it would be the same, I think the audience contributed greatly to the success of the show. These are people who send off their scratch cards and think no more about it and next thing they are going to be on the telly next week.Sinead and Marty have hosted Winning Streak together since 2013 and the Cork native revealed that they are close friends offscreen and even had a pre-show ritual every single week.

Meanwhile, last year Marty told us that he feels confident the show will return to our screens in the future.
